Rev. Bob Mc Gann and his wife Karen returned to Havertown, and Grace Chapel after 15 years of pastoral ministry in the Republic of Ireland and the Poconos in September 2000.

Bob was raised in the Paddock Farms section of Havertown and counts it both a thrill and a privilege to live and minister in his hometown. Karen was raised in Radnor and began dating Bob while they were students at Archbishop John Carroll High School.

Bob and Karen have four children; Bob III, Tim, Stephen and Ashling Joy, who was born in Cork, Ireland. Bob was introduced to the life changing power of God's Word by a co-worker at the Bryn Mawr Acme who shared God's plan of salvation with him. These discussions began an interest in the Bible and God's answers to man's problems. Bob was studying journalism at Temple University at the time and Karen was pursuing a degree in special education at West Chester University.

Following graduation from Temple, Bob attended the Philadelphia College of Bible and later received a Masters Degree from Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA. In 1998 he received a Doctor of Ministry from Grace Seminary in Indiana.

Bob and Karen recently became Grandparents.  Bob III and Amy gave birth to Leah Joy on Feb. 23, 2009.
