Why Groups at Grace? Grace Chapel's Small Groups exist for men and women who share the desire to gather regularly for mutual Christian growth through loving, learning, serving, and reaching others in order to become better disciples of Jesus Christ.
Build each other up! Jesus gave a new commandment based upon relationships, "Love on another, even as I have loved you" (John 13:34-35). Relationships are the means by which we fulfill this command. Grace Chapel's small groups provide a significant means for achieving the goal of Jesus' command. At Grace Chapel we have summarized the goals as loving, learining, serving and reaching.
Loving, Learning, Serving, Reaching. Small groups allow you to share life. The mission of the apostle Paul wsa not only to share the gospel but to share his life (1 Thessalonians 2:8-9). Groups provide the place to live your Christian life. You can't love, forgive, accept, encourage or forgive in a room of hundreds of people. Groups provide the accountability to be faithful to Jesus Christ.
When others live life with you they know you and can help you grow! In fact, it is the small group that helps maintain the momentum of the weekly large group meetings. The application of what the Spirit began on Sunday finds expression through the small group.

- Prayer Groups - Commit to pray for your church, families, neighborhood, and Christian life.
- Missions Groups - Serve as a Sender of missionaries with other friends who share your passion for missions.
- Parenting Groups - Share your successes and struggles with other parents while drawing strength from others’ experiences.
- Bible Study Groups - Want to study the Bible or a topic with other adults? Here is a great opportunity to experience real fellowship.
- Other Groups - You can meet to pray, reach out, even to help others. If you can’t find what you’re looking for maybe the Lord is asking you to begin a new group to address an unmet need. Follow the section on starting a new group and get going!
